Willa C. Harper is a U.S.-based digital consumer advocate who started ScamOrLegitDCX to protect people from online scams, shady ads, and misleading promotions. With a background in journalism and digital research, she breaks down complex investigations into simple, trustworthy insights.

For years, I worked in digital marketing and journalism. I loved the creativity of advertising, but I also saw the dark side—fake offers, miracle cures, and too-good-to-be-true promotions designed to take advantage of people.

The turning point came when a close friend of mine nearly lost $1,200 to an investment ‘opportunity’ she found through a viral online ad. She called me in a panic, and I realized how easily even smart, careful people can fall into these traps.

That’s when I decided to create ScamOrLegitDCX. My mission is simple: to investigate online promotions, products, and ads and deliver a clear verdict people can trust.

I don’t sensationalize. If it’s legit, I’ll say so. If it’s a scam, I’ll expose it. And if it’s somewhere in the middle, I’ll give the full picture.
